Something to brighten my day...

My dear friend Jarhead sent me this lovely picture of me he tinkered with this morning. It makes me smile!

What a lovely Jarhead he is indeed! I want to shower him with Pug Puppies.

This is a lesson in procrastination...

I haven't made any new dresses lately and I haven't taken proper photos of all my existing dresses to share them with the world so you can also wear them on your bodies and run around in joyous triumph. I am a huge procrastinator. Oh woe is me.

Anyway, after this week I am getting right back into it! I will sew till my fingers fall off!! And then i will continue to sew until my fingerless hand nubs get tired.

Midnight Photo Fun...

Yesterday husband and I fell asleep at 4pm!! Nutty.

Of course when you fall asleep at 4pm you are wide awake at midnight wondering what the hell to do with yourself. So i decided to take a photo of this dress I made to wear for my birthday a couple months back. Its not a very good shot but I heart this dress very much. Its the kind of dress you can just put on and feel pretty in. It has soft velvet straps and lacey material. Soon I will get my photographer sister to take proper shots of all my dresses so that your eyes aren't deceived by my amateur-ness.

Now enough about the dress, lets talk about the shoes. These deserve a blog of their own but unfortunately i don't have a clearer shot of them. I got these on sale earlier this year from Myer and they are so amazing. It was one of those lucky finds where you find an amazing pair of shoes for half of what they should cost! Happy Times!

Beating Heart Baby...

This weekend we celebrated one of my best friends birthdays! And oh was it a joyous one. We hit the casino and went wild crazy. Usually I never win at the casino but on this night i was freakin calling all the shots, which of course was a huge self confidence boost. It was the perfect amount of fun to distract me from my so far dismal year. Now... lets dance!

Oh blog world, I have missed you. This is a dress I made for New Years eve, which was a huge flop... as well as this first week of the new year. But at least I had a cute dress to wear that night which always makes me feel a little bit better. It will be on my etsy shop soon. :)

and there goes christmas for another year...

Oh Christmas, you leave as soon as you arrive! Here is a few happy snaps from christmas morning with my siblings and my husband and puppy :) I must admit it wasn't the best christmas i've ever had, my mum was away in Samoa, my dad was very sick and my grandma ended up in hospital :( But at least the weather was beautiful and it was nice to have what family I had around!!

Now we have new years to look forward too! What to wear... what to wear.......

Welcome to my work station friends. Tonight I shall make a beautiful dress! We just set up a new beautiful work station, i have a lovely white table that my kind friends got me for my birthday and hubby has a big black table for his precious gaming right next door. Its a bit romantic.

Now its time to stop blogging about sewing and actually sew! Hoorah!
