Every time i think of you i get a shot right through into a bolt of blue...
Today my ever so kind boss slipped me a fifty dollar note because he said i wasn't cheerful enough today and i needed some cheering up. He wanted me to go to the movies with my hubby, but why see a movie when you can buy things, which brings true happiness.. so thats exactly what we did, we bought sushi and jewellery and a magazine! YAY!
Husband hates the shops so we didn't spend much time there at all, and when we came home he hopped on his computer (which is his actual true love) so i hopped on my guitar to ease my lonely heart... and also to sing loudly to annoy him lots.

And we frolicked about in our summer skin...
Oh summer times, how i love them. Last night we had a barbecue at my Uncle's house! He bought this pool for his 4 year old daugther Valentina and naturally in this 37 degree heat we all jumped in! I was taking photos at this point but I was in the pool straight after.
These shots are oozing with cheese and they were as loud as they look in real life.
Oh gosh... I hope summer never leaves.

Midnight Photo Fun...
Yesterday husband and I fell asleep at 4pm!! Nutty.
Of course when you fall asleep at 4pm you are wide awake at midnight wondering what the hell to do with yourself. So i decided to take a photo of this dress I made to wear for my birthday a couple months back. Its not a very good shot but I heart this dress very much. Its the kind of dress you can just put on and feel pretty in. It has soft velvet straps and lacey material. Soon I will get my photographer sister to take proper shots of all my dresses so that your eyes aren't deceived by my amateur-ness.
Now enough about the dress, lets talk about the shoes. These deserve a blog of their own but unfortunately i don't have a clearer shot of them. I got these on sale earlier this year from Myer and they are so amazing. It was one of those lucky finds where you find an amazing pair of shoes for half of what they should cost! Happy Times!

Beating Heart Baby...
This weekend we celebrated one of my best friends birthdays! And oh was it a joyous one. We hit the casino and went wild crazy. Usually I never win at the casino but on this night i was freakin calling all the shots, which of course was a huge self confidence boost. It was the perfect amount of fun to distract me from my so far dismal year. Now... lets dance!

Experience The Camaraderie... So this is the new year...
Oh blog world, I have missed you. This is a dress I made for New Years eve, which was a huge flop... as well as this first week of the new year. But at least I had a cute dress to wear that night which always makes me feel a little bit better. It will be on my etsy shop soon. :)
